A private equity firm specializing in the spirits industry was administering all of its asset tracking, projection modeling, fundraising, and investor reporting manually (primarily using spreadsheets). While there are powerful enterprise solutions for asset and fund management, they weren’t a great fit for this firm at its current stage. The off-the-shelf solutions are expensive, include many features this firm doesn’t need, and aren’t well tailored to the nuances of this firm’s asset class. We leveraged a low-code application development platform to deliver a custom solution that was better suited to their needs. The MVP deliverable supported their basic asset tracking and projection functionality, replacing their manual spreadsheets. Post MVP, we added features for automated report generation (for LPs), fundraising management, and more.
